A high-speed automobile accident ended with an explosion, leaving Sharonda J., with a traumatic brain injury, difficulty speaking and impaired mobility. Nevertheless, this beautiful woman of thirty-two remains upbeat and joyful. She is especially happy when she sees her two daughters. Sharonda painted as a child and enjoyed art making. As she regains some movement in her hands she wants to expand her work, painting larger canvasses. She’s collaborated effectively on murals created by Resident-Neighbors at Northeast Center. This watercolor example embodies a peaceful, Asian expansiveness.
