Binny T., migrated with his large family from India to the United States. As a young man, full of potential, he lived on his own an acquired brain injury left him impaired. Through the Fine Arts Program at Northeast Center for Special Care, Binny discovered that he loves art. As a young child he had virtually no art experience. Recently he was drawn to pastels, creating studies of the masters as seen in this example. He has a passion to make large outdoor sculpture, inspired by artists such as Christo and Andy Goldsworthy. This kind of art is so freeing as “you’re one with nature and your surroundings”.
