"Rosehips and Love" 14" x 18" 2007

Yvette is a survivor of an anoxic brain injury and a coma. Her brain
injury caused visual and mobility impairments but that has not kept her
from creating.
Though a visual impairment presents challenges for Yvette as an artist,
she has met those challenges and created a number works that
demonstrates a good use of colors and design. Yvette also participates
in creative writing another part of our Fine Arts Program. Her creative
work is a vehicle she uses to express her feelings and hopes.
