Andrew has a brain injury which resulted in impaired mobility and communication. Nevertheless he moves independently throughout Northeast Center, and is stimulated by 80’s music, the touch of the Art Studio, therapy dog and other interests. When the mood is right he enjoys drawing and painting, responding in
particular to the rhythms of music. This example, entitled “Jazz,”
is typical of his abstract work, graphic, energetic and full of life.
