Brian never studied art, but experienced a bit of sculpture in school. He learned photography through his father who was a professional. Brian was an ex-marine who became a state trooper and he has a wife and two children. Brian became a brain injury survivor as a result of a motor vehicle accident which also caused visual perception and memory issues. Through the Fine Arts Program at Northeast Center, Brian has come to
explore art as an individual, inspired by everyone working together in a
community setting. Participating in the Art Studio gives Brian, as he
describes, "a sense of freedom." In the future he hopes to
create large-scale sculpture.
